  7. Z-Mail is a comprehensive e-mail management system for all UNIX workstations.
  8. Z-Mail was developed by Z-Code Software Corp.

  10. Z-Mail supports Motif, OPEN LOOK, and two forms of character interfaces (tty
  11. and fullscreen). Z-Mail also includes a powerful scripting language called
  12. Z-Script, a csh-like language that enables users to customize and extend
  13. Z-Mail's capabilities, regardless of the interface being used.

  15. With Z-script, users can do the following: create rule-based filters
  16. that automatically manage mail in the foreground or background
  17. (synchronously);
  18. redefine existing mail functions and capabilities; create GUI buttons,
  19. dialog boxes, and other interactive facilities; build intelligent mail
  20. processing applications that direct requests and forms to appropriate
  21. accounts;
  22. Z-Mail works with all standard UNIX mail transport agents including
  23. sendmail binmail, smail, MMDF, and X.400 gateways.

  26. mail without you reading it; define templates for sending standard messages;
  27. open and search multiple folders at the same time; organize your
  28. messages in flat or hierarchical folders; sort messages using nested sort
  29. keys; and rebind keys on the keyboard to execute commands for any interface.
